Our March 2023 knitwear pattern was created exclusively for Two Sheeps LLC by Mary Hunt of Hunt Handknits! (@hunthandknits on Instagram)
With textures inspired by the redwood forests of California, the Explorer Shawl is a midsize accessory that can be worn as a kerchief on cold, autumn hikes, or as a wrap while sitting around the campfire.
Mary designed the Explorer Shawl using 2 skeins of superwash fingering-weight yarn that was dyed exclusively for Two Sheeps by Tara Sager of Rebel Woolworks.
All (100%!) of profits from the sale of this beautiful shawl pattern will be donated to Color of Change (@colorforchange), a progressive nonprofit, civil rights advocacy organization in the United States. It was formed in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in order to strengthen the political voice of African-Americans. Mary selected this organization and will continue to send all pattern profits to C for C! 🐑🐑💗
